OK, everyone should be able to login now. If you still get a gameguard or update error, you may need to take this extra step:

Remove the folder c:\GamesCampus\ShotOnline\GameGuard

Good luck. Post here if you continue to have a problem.

OK, we are mixing things up a bit.

There are 2 problems we have had lately:

1) reading update file fails
Fix= DNS server to 8.8.8.8

2) Shot.exe
Anti-virus problem. Update AV exceptions. See threads in Support forum.

3) gameguard 380
Fix was released today.

Be sure to say which you are having.

--------

I have heard of a couple of people still having the "reading update file fails" problem. If you changed your DNS server to Google's, per 8.8.8.8, then the only thing I could suggest is try shutting off your Windows Firewall, then start the game. If that works, we know it is something in your firewall settings (or NOT in your settings).

If you are still getting "update info file failed", you can try this. A few years ago we had a similar situation and I ran hotspotshield for a few months until the problem was resolved.

Install and run hotspotshield. Download link here>> http://www.hotspotshield.com/benefits-of-vpn

Let me know if this allows you to enter the game.

re: info update file failed error

OK, try this please (copied from Support forum)

For GameGuard errors, try this:

Step 1

a) Navigate to the folder C: > Program Files > Common Files

b) Remove the folder named INCA Shared if it is there.
(Search carefully. Ensure that you leave no folder named INCA Shared.)

c) Create a fresh, empty folder named INCA Shared, so that you will have:
C: > Program Files > Common Files > INCA Shared

(It is very important that you create this folder within the Common Files folder, NOT within Program Files.
It is very important that you use the exact name "INCA Shared".)

Step 2

a) Go to your Shot Online folder. Normally, this is C: > GamesCampus > ShotOnline

b) If you see a folder named gameguard, then delete it.

Step 3

a) Go to your Shot Online folder. Normally, this is C: > GamesCampus > ShotOnline

b) If you see a folder named Log, then delete all files inside that folder.

Restart Shot Online
