Question about chipping, I was playing this weekend with a friend and few holes he was having a problem with his SW.

He was close to the green and chipping on, but few times he would get like a half swing and other times he'd get a full swing and just fly passed the hole.

How can he determin when hes going to get the full or half chip swing.

Thanks for your time

Sounds to me like he's just forgot to change his club from an Iron to SW (or similar, it's easily done as I've done it many times myself hehe) OR it's a bug because what you speak of doesn't/shouldn't happen normally !!

Once you've clicked 3 times to hit the ball, the characters swing is automatic and relative to the amount of power you set, therefore he will swing more when hitting harder etc. !!

If he IS using the SW and the same problem keeps happening then it's a bug, so he could try Uninstalling/Reinstalling the whole game to try and clear it and if it still persists then get him to send-in a letter to ShotOnline via Direct Q+A explaining the problem and hopefully they can help ok !!

!! Hope this Helps & Good Luck..............Cya on the Field !! ;)

I think that once you get past 55% or so it changes from a chip to a full swing... otherwise, what ^ said

There is a 'lag' issue that is more likely to happen if you use the page up/down to change clubs. It shows on your club selection bag that it has changed but you need to wait a little for the toon to change club otherwise if you swing it will use the wrong club. Selecting club with your mouse helps but you should always watch out for this lag.
