Have any of the newer clubs been tested? The Frost, Mighty... etc. Not that I can afford any of that, but I'm curious if there is a noticeable difference. |

There is nothing to test, because these clubs are not new. They are all clones of previous clubs. Frost woods are clones of Typhoon high loft (Red) clubs. Mighty woods are clones of Typhoon mid loft (Yellow) clubs. Blast woods are clones of Typhoon low loft (Blue) clubs. All of the various Mighty, Blast, Skuld wedges are clones of either Tempest or Werdandi. Blast irons are clones of Hybrid irons. The only club that is new is the Mighty irons. They are lower flight than previous irons and go a tad farther than Hybrid/CTL. However, the Mighty 5 iron does not allow back spin or top spin. Note that the Mighty 5 iron is only about 5 yards longer that Hybrid/CTL for full side spin. |
