Frank

Either your pm is not working or there is a problem with the board

My guess would be have you entered numbers in the settings sheet?

I entered the number in the chart section.... I used ez caddy a lot in the years, but now it is different. :( still numbers stay same.

If you are using 4.03 or something like that, next to the chart tab is Settings, you need to imput the relevant numbers.

I got hold of an older version... v2.92 .... and it works proper.... I tried 4.03 and 3.xx something.... neither worked proper.... v2.92 works perfectly. :)

I knoiw this is old thread and such, but would like to give hint for all those still running really old versions (which at the time were shareware).

You are still able to open those in _unregistered_ mode (button at bottom of startup page) and go to file sheet, where u can actually export the settings u have in there.

This exported settings file will be compatible with the latest version of EzC (currently 4.043) and give you the basic setup for calculations.

Obviously current EzCaddy is quite a bit different than those earlier version, which supported only no spin and back spin. Current version has adjustable top/bottom spins and sidespins. There are some new settings and more complex calculation formulas for example elevation correction. Base calculations are still the same tho.

Personally I am extremely happy with the performance of 4.043 so I strongly recommend updating to that. Also it is 100% free without any nag screens or other limitations and does all the stuff those early versions did. Can not see any reason using those old versions instead. New version also works with 64bit excel.

I also recommend that u guys share your settings files and charts with each other so that charting/configuring becomes less of an effort. Unfortunately I don't have a place for you to upload those. However that is how I originally wanted people to do and the settings import/export feature is highly tuned just for that purpose.
