Hi there,

Recently I've heard that certain ornaments (YYPS), and certain relics (+Weapon damage) only affect certain types of damage (Physical or CK.)

A few of the things I've heard so far were:

BBoE (+10% Weapon Damage)
: Only affects physical/melee damage.
Physical Ornament (+100 to +300) : Only affects physical/melee damage.
Soul Ornament (+100 to +300) : Only affects Chi Kung skills.

Can someone confirm/clarify on this?

Thank you,
~Tamiko.

P.S. Hope everyone has a nice grind. <3

BBoEs add 10% of whatever weapon your using, if your using CK it add CK damage if your using melee it add melee damage. Phys and Soul is a different type of damage that isnt tied to melee or CK damage so it adds to both of said attacks.

Didn't a bboe give ck players less dmg because their dmg is more skill based, while a melee attack is more weapon dmg based?

I'm unsure about this, though i've heard people saying a bboe won't do alot when using ck.

It's still give the same 10% from teh weapon damage so if it's bracer it will be 10% from their damage into CK damage. It don't give less it's 10% always :)
But yep for a CK user it's not the weapon that give the better damage boost it's the wisd which increase Chi Kung Skill damage.

All special damage such as Body (Sometime translated as physical) Soul, Yin and Yang are special damage which have nothings to do with other damage and are additional damage. So no CK or not the effect will be the same. (Depend on the special resistance of the target mobs or player)
