i think ways to improve the game is to put the reciept system back to the way it was. remove the non tradable and the hardcourse artifact . put back ball exchange. punish only those who abuse the system. Also i think people would like to see more mission events, also i think hio prizes should be better and moore rewarding.

I’ve been playing Shot Online Golf for several years now, on and off, and I always end up coming back to it. It’s genuinely one of the best online golf games out there, the gameplay feels great; the community can be awesome once you get into it and it does an incredible job blending golf mechanics with RPG-style progression.

That said, there are a couple of areas that could really use some improvement. The first is the in-game economy. The amount of NG needed to get decent gear is way out of balance. Most players can earn maybe 1–3 million NG a day, but clubs in the auction house often go for trillions. I get that player prices can’t really be controlled, but it creates a huge gap between newer players and long-time or paying players.

One thing that could help would be if the item mall offered individual clubs for sale at regular intervals during the year; even just a few times annually, for around 1000cc to 1500cc each. That way, players could still buy the clubs they want without breaking the in-game economy, and it would also give the developers a consistent microtransaction opportunity. Everyone wins.

The second area that really needs attention is practice and training. The current “practice hole” doesn’t do much to help players improve. It’s completely flat, and once you find the right angle and power, you’ll sink the same putt every time. That’s not realistic to how greens actually play in the courses. A proper “training facility” or putting practice area; with different slopes, lies, and green speeds, would make a huge difference. It would help both new players trying to learn and returning players like me who sometimes struggle to meet the required scores.

Lastly, the item upgrading system, especially for Odelia and Chronos gear, needs some serious adjustment. Even with the reduced penalties, it often takes 5–10 upgrade attempts just to get a guaranteed success. That’s far too much time, effort, and resources for a single item. The process ends up feeling more punishing than rewarding. Slightly improving the success rates or lowering the required number of attempts would go a long way toward making progression feel fair and enjoyable.

Overall, Shot Online Golf is still an amazing and unique game, and I’ll keep coming back to it. But with a few updates to the economy and training systems, it could be even more enjoyable and welcoming for everyone.

hello iv been playing the game for a number of years and i hope this suggestion could maybe go a long way iv noticed people still love using older clubs and maybe bring a little nostalgia back and maybe doing say like special edition werdani group clubs be able to turn these legends and bring back like tornado/tempest/hurricane clubs again being able to do the same as in the sqaure thats all people talk about is the old days maybe bring stuff like that back and upgrading them could be a idea

I would like the game to be more competitive between teams. That is, to create a championship among teams where they choose their best 10 players to participate. Let’s remember that humans are naturally competitive and need challenges.

Likewise, it would be good to have championships by country. This would generate greater investment by being the best representative of each country.

 Many people play this game for the enjoyment and a way to pass time, while dealing with cancer and other illnesses.  You would not believe how much this game has helped me while going through pain and treatment.  I am unable and am sure others are unable to spend money on the game, so I always use missions and travel maps to earn NG to be able to buy Gold Platinum and other items in auction
 and I would like for you to add maps back as sellable and mission items should have better items that can be sold in the auction so we can get help those with to get ng for those with money can purchase gold platinum and other items.  This will increase what you make in cash and us with less money to keep enjoying the game.  I am using everything I have to treat Multiple Myeloma, and I know there are other people far worse than I am. As before the missions need to provide better items with items won sellable.  The people in game has helped me a lot during my prolonged cancer treatment and fo that I am thankful.

why do we need artifacts to craft a birdie map or a badge? Please reverse that.

I miss the monthly bonus CC , seems like it’s only every 3 months or so?

Where is the event Calendar we where promised a year ago?

Please invest in better quality servers so less people disconnect

Find a way to attract new players so the total number of players will increase again

Are we still going to merge with the DE server? Or is that a rumour? They seem to be doing well and have way more players than the international server.

Bugs

If you have a different inventory tab selected in the square and you enter the Auction, the tab APPEARS to switch to the first tab, but it actually doesn’t. When you buy something or return an item from auction failure, the item goes to the tab that was selected in the Square. This is a really bad user experience. Switch Inventory to the FIRST tab when entering auction.

Fix the Light Source on Dino Park. It’s currently upside down (shadows are on top, light is on the bottom).

Fix some of the faulty geometric facets on the greens, such as on #8 CT Park and #18 Cads back pin.

Fix the putting order on CT Park, specifically #13 and #18. There’s a bug where they’re not always furthest first.

Do not display the HIO Challenge ticket graphic on par 3’s unless there is an actual ticket in the player’s inventory.

Item Recipe System: Swap the position of Normal and Premium Tabs and have Normal appear when the window opens.

Make recipe-made items like enhancement stones and travel maps tradable again. Punish the wrong-doers, not the innocent players.

Lifestyle improvements

ENHANCE the odds of success for Odelia, Hecate, Chronos and Victoria. The failure rate is beyond ridiculous.

Under Personal Record (shortcut key P) in the “G. Info” tab, PLEASE make “Shot accuracy” a rolling average over the span of 1 year. All-time averages for those who have been with the game since 2005 are wholly inaccurate. It took me several years to increase my shot accuracy by 0.1% mainly because my earlier playing was based on the equipment and low levels in the game’s early years. Shot accuracy shouldn’t be penalized based on play 2 decades ago.

When repairing clubs at Clelic, assign the Enter key to the Repair button so that all it takes is click, enter, enter. As it is now, you have to click the club, then click Repair, then click Confirm or hit Enter. Very chunky interface.

OPEN TOUR: set max strokes to 2-over-par instead of 2x par. With 20 people on St Bay or Bianca Fjord, game play becomes very long with double-score max.

Add the option to re-assign the space bar so it’s not bound to the swing at all.

Least important, update the way the faces are rendered. They look antiquated.

New Feature Ideas

Add the ability to change the ball color/design for Honor Pro balls, and/or the ability to add graphic effects to the ball.

Maybe the ability to add the guild logo to clothes, balls, or equipment.

Sinon pour les vetements pourquoi mettre systématiquement au perso E , S , C une jupe alors que les autres ont un pantalon :face_with_bags_under_eyes: , pourquoi pas la même collection homme/femme pour une fois ? Je voudrai voir plus de jeans pour perso féminun aussi.

Dernière chose aussi j’aimerai bien revoir la collection WINTER CITY.

the Cadeiger course could really use some reworking. The new holes with an extreme elevation drop have made the course feel nearly unplayable for a lot of people. While using an honor level toon and even when using speed indicator clubs on a lower-level toon, it’s almost impossible to hold the green or stick the small island, especially depending on the weather conditions. It’s a shame, because Cadeiger used to be a great course, but right now most players avoid it entirely. Adjusting those holes or slightly tweaking the green and landing zones would bring the fun back to it.

Hello, my father and I have been playing this game since 2008. I really miss the clubs and balls you used to be able to buy in the square. This was a better system because it allowed for new players to get into the game without spending an arm and a leg for clubs. I do like the idea of making werdandis purchaseable in the square, however the gap between werdandis and g2 clubs is massive in distance and in ng/cc cost. I think that this would somewhat discourage new players. Also I mostly play for nostalgia purposes as a veteran player. I enjoy seeing these old clubs. Maybe you can add tornado/tempest/hurricane series 1/2/3 clubs to the square to purchase for ng. This would give players who are new a better edge and give them more confidence as they can compete without spending 100s of dollars on the game and may even encourage them to spend more time and money on the game because the game wouldnt seem as grindy to them anymore. What the game needs the absolute most is to bring players back together. Do this by taking the time restriction off of matching mode. That would encourage players to play together all day not just during odd hours. Next the game needs a tournament system that is fun to play and is not so complicated. The game has become way too complicated with all of the stuff in it. Make a tournament that actually gives something valuable such as a box or cc and make it weekly or even daily. 100cc for lvl 1-100 and 250cc tournament for lvl 100-200. 500cc weekly tournament for honor pros. Alternatively you could make a tournament system that gave an all new currency. TC or tournament credits. big games such as rocket league do this and thats how they motivate players to participate. the TC is spent on rewards that the player will pick in the TC shop. You must spice up the tournaments and events and simplify the game. I used to love the old holiday events back in beginning years because they were simple and just got boxes. I hate the new holiday events because the rewards arent interesting and I have to collect 5-10 different items and turn them into items only once I have the correct ones. This is too complex and annoying. I want to just play the holiday event and get my rewards. Keeping it simple keeps players on the green and not in the square. Also you could host a tournament for under lvl 200 that rewards you with hybrid clubs. Scaling the newer players more and getting them in a position where they can play. The only competitive clubs in the game are ones that you have to upgrade or spend 100s/1000s of dollars on. This is very discouraging to bringing new players into an old game. I really like the new square. Another way you can engage players to play with other players is to make the putting mini game multiplayer somehow and have it be like a side game almost like mini golf that you do with friends and its just putting. Another way to spice up the game and get players playing together again is get rid of the boring way that guild houses are earned. You could make guild houses earned by skill and by tournaments instead of simply a quota of holes on some course. have a tournament held for each house and the tournament can be on that course. Then each guild that competes has to pick 2-4 players from the guild to play or compete for the house. It doesnt necessarily have to be this idea specifically but getting more guild vs guild things in the game would make the game feel alive. Currently almost all of the tournaments in the game feel dull and for uninteresting rewards. The competitiveness of the game doesnt feel like it is there. Add some competition to the game. Many of the tournaments also dont have interaction amongst players. The old semi pro, tour pro test, and master pro test where you actually are competing vs other players scores for a new Title was very fun. This feedback event for CC is probably the smartest decision made in the last 10 years. Reward veteran players for being a sherpa to new players. Make a system where they connect and teach them. Make the game fully accessible through mobile or tablet. This would skyrocket new players if there was a working version. Then advertise the game on social media platforms such as tiktok/facebook/twitch. Pay a veteran player to stream the game on twitch and create ways for people to find out about it via social media. Maybe compare yourselfs to runescape and what they are doing correctly. Thats a very old game that is still pretty active. I would try to get back on steam platform but only after you have improved the game first. Truly listen to your players and you could revitalize this game and make alot of money and bring new players. The problem shotonline is having for the most part is ignoring its playerbase for 10 years or so. Please give a much bigger success rate for all tickets and stones. This would mean more players buy them so it would still make good money but also be a better, less frustrating experience for players. Bring back luna antique set in the shop too. These were good for new players and like I said alot of players in the game currently, are playing for nostalgia reasons. I miss all of the old items.

increasing EXP in mastery or stroke mode to encourage more play outside of matching mode. The play style in matching mode is not friendly like it was years ago in the slower pace of stroke / mastery. most everyone that still plays regular only wants to do matching mode during frenzy. Its even hard to get people to do travel and guild love quests now. many drop in on occasion to see how its all going but usually do not stay long.

the new change in item recipe making items non tradable is painful and will just bring back trade in square and scammers. i get your trying to get people to spend dollars to buy premium membership but honestly the economy in the game says it was already hard to survive in the game before this. many that spend money do not want to have premium membership when you only get to play 2 days a week.

Changes made to Cadiger Gleiger and many more courses have made the game ridiculous to play at what is now a normal level and that’s before the terrible weather that happens when these courses are special EXP or something. 7m head winds in rain every hole kind of kills the fun.

So many have left the game due to the fun not being there now and many more are openly talking about it.

bring the fun back and they might return.

I second this regarding the color of the golf balls. So boring playing with the same colored ball all the time and this can be easily uipdated (just like cover slots for clothes)

*1. More P2P game : want to 18hole P2P game like ML or OT every week. (time set 30sec)

*2. G.H.P recipe material need downdrade : need more mitivation for guild.

(after last update, no one make G.H.P ticket for guild buff)

*3. Mini ticket : downgrade material (need 15ea~20ea advanced runes for 1 ticke, makes me crazy)

*4. Blue stone : only make 1 per a week… need change back before.

(if 100% sucess rate, it is ok.)

Please randomize the holes in Matching Mode. The same 9 holes from each course gets really boring.

I have avoided the obvious bugs such as ob distances and changes to the item recipe sytem as I am sure you will already have had bags of feedback on those! Wasnt sure if it was one post or idea ..so here goes :slight_smile:

  1. REWARD LOYALTY - This is the biggest no brainer - SO make more money when people play more it is obvious surely you should be encouraging people to play more! Rewards could be each week / month…. Incremenetal increase in exp every x holes you play or an incremeental increase in ng every x holes you play or maybe a free item after x holes
  2. MEMBERSHIP FREE ITEMS - Yes the items already meed updating but I would also enable the user to select items they want from a menu …..e.g any 6 items from a menu of 12 this would enable users to fine tune the items they want based on what they already have in there inventory
  3. Frenzy times - this is a world wide server ( except Korea :wink: ) so getting the frenzy timings just right will always be a challenge…rather than having fixed windows give everyone say 3 or 4 tokens a day they can activate.
  4. Speed Matching clocks - Change 1 server to 30 seconds and leave the other at 60 seconds - that will enable those that like to take their time to still do so, and others that dont to play quicker (remember its a limit not a target :wink: )
  5. Putting - All modes except single player - change the clock to 20 seconds - Noone really needs to take 59 seconds for a 3 foot putt do they!
  6. More guild v guild tournaments weekly / monthly
  7. WRT - Increase the courses to include all hard courses
  8. Change SOWC so the holes you play contribute to your honour class (currentley they dont it may be a bug)
  9. Honour Class - Remove the Points limit that you have regarding members - SO have had a strategy of moving people to HP as quickly as they can over the last 2 years - this has made finding an under 200 level almost impossible - so people are either running with 3 or putting a noob in to get 4 to be able to use the daily buff …this is just silly
  10. More courses on Honour training - This would help get more people through 9H before they either die or give the game up

I could go on - But will save a few up for next year …should the game still be going :wink:

I will try to be concise and express clear ideas:

1 - About game modes: Add swift foursome mode and adjust EXP gain similar to MM to encourage people to play cooperating. It would also help for adding missions and events.
1.1 - Add swift mastery mode and raise EXP gain. Nobody play this mode because it does not worth. Based on the difficulty, this mode should be the one that gives the most EXP.

2 - About equipment: Allow using 3 wedges in the way you prefer, not necessary PW+AW+SW. With current different wedges distances “short AW” is shorter than “long SW” and it has not much sense. If I could, I would use a “short SW” + “long SW” + PW, for instance.
2.1 - Adjust irons distances: even with a “long PW” there is a huge difference with 9i. IMO, distances of 9i to 6i, must be reduced proportionally.

3 - About loyal players: Add a day-loggin counter and reward people according to loyalty. For instance, it could be rewards every “X” days connected in a row, increasing value of rewards the more consecutive days you connect.

4 - About item recipe: There is a widespread outcry that the recent changes have not been convenient. I suggest to allow 1 tradable item weekly for all item recipe items that were tradable before changes. Anyway, punish IPs that clearly try to abuse of it. You are punishing everybody now.
4.1 - Allow to exchange balls of 250 uses, AH is full of 3PC that nobody want to use…

5 - About MM: Update holes selection for rouding, it is boring to play same holes all time. We all know that you want to avoid par 5s till 4th hole (and it is OK) but you could programe holes without being in order. I mean, hole 1 could be hole 12th, hole 2 could be 7th and so on. Totally random.
5.1 Frenzy Periods: Taking in account that it is a world wide game, it is impossible to adjust a good timing for all. You could adjust current timings and provide 1 frenzy token daily for free use.

I do hope you hear community because number of players has decreased clearly.
